^WinUSR^TM INVOICING/REPORTING SYSTEM^TM

            for United States Court Reporters             

Please read the following information!

^WinUSR^TM Version 2.10. This new version adds calculation of Sales Tax for those Reporters in areas where it applies and are required to collect it and in instances when it applies. You will need to enter your Sales Tax rate in the Maintenance/User Information/District Info. tab (in decimal format). Then, upon preparation of the transcript, you may click a button at the Sales Tax field in your AO44, and it will pop in the calculated sales tax amount. This version is otherwise identical to Version 2.09. As in the previous version, if you are presently using Version 2.05 or higher, you will not need to request a new authorization file

^WinUSR^TM Version 2.09. The only change in this version is to add the judge's initials before whom you've appeared to the Time & Attendance table (not the report), to make it easy to find instances where you've appeared before certain judges. It might or might not be of significance to you, but it was helpful for me and it was requested. As in the previous version, if you are on Version 2.05 or higher, you will not need to request a new authorization file.

^WinUSR^TM Version 2.08 corrects the CJA24 which had some data printing in an incorrect place. It also adds selections in the Defaults section of User Information for printing your SSN, EIN, or AO ID on the CJA24. You will want to check ALL TABS of the User Information sections to make sure all selections are correct for you. If you are on Version 2.05 or higher, you will not need to request a new authorization file.

^WinUSR^TM Version 2.07 adds a selection in your Defaults Tab of User Information for whether to print your SSN or AO I.D. on your CJA24. This version is otherwise the same as V2.06. You MUST BE on V2.05 or higher before installation. Just call us for a new "Authoriz.tps" file and, assuming your Support & Update Agreement is in force, we will immediately send you the new authorization file.

^WinUSR^TM Version 2.06 adds a feature for designing a line of information to print on the Signature Line of Invoices, both printed and pdfs, in lieu of your actual signature, such as "s/ Your Name." You will find a new entry in the Defaults Tab of User Information in Maintenance to enter your preferred text. You then choose whether or not you want to use this text or whether you're going to actually sign the invoice as you begin the printing process on the screen where you enter how many pages you want to print and whether you want your tax information printed on the invoice. This version is otherwise the same as V2.05.

Before proceeding with any update, we strongly suggest that you BACK UP your data using the Backer Utility provided with ^WinUSR^TM, and it is imperative that ^WinUSR^TM, be CLOSED.
